Merry Christmas!

Logan is growing up WAY TO FAST... He is this amazing little person who is smart and handsome, he loves to draw and read. His baby teeth are falling out left and right and he became a Tiger Cub Scout this year. It's hard to believe he is in first grade, WOW! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!

My"Big Boy" lost his first tooth

I know I have been REALLY bad about updating the blog. First Happy New Year, I know a little late but better than never, right?

Second my baby has had another big milestone, he lost his first tooth:0) It fell out yesterday in gym class, Logan was so excited about losing it at school, he got to bring his tooth home in a little orange treasure chest. Lost of other things going on and not a minute to write on the blog. Logan is rockin in school, he is reading just under a second grade level. He is above where he needs to be in all areas. I am such a proud Mommy. He got his first valentine note sent to him in school today from a little girl in his class, they had "Valentine Grams" that you could buy for .30 it was a card and a pencil, so cute. He already has a "girlfriend" I heard 3 while helping one day in class, but he says no just one and that is a girl named Sierra. I always knew I was going to be in trouble with him, he has ALWAYS liked pretty girls.

All is well around her besides the DEEP FREEZE that we have been in for a while now. I sure hope that Groundhog was right :0) I am sooooooo over winter!

Another big thing going on right now is that we are adopting again, but this time it is a little girl doggy who we named Lily. She will not be with us until March 15th she is still to little to leave her mom:0) Here's a few pics of her also just because she is so darn cute!

We went to our annual "Halloween Jamboree" this past weekend, so fun!

4 yrs, Already!

It's amazing to me how fast these past 4 yrs have went by... I have watched Logan turn into this amazing, funny, smart, caring little boy. Don't get me wrong he has his moments but for the most part he is amazing :0) Wherever I go people comment on how good/polite he is and it always makes me smile.

Happy 4 years to our family and the Lang family, they traveled at the same time as us, what a GREAT journey we had to our two amazing little guys.

Kindergarten Already, WOW!

I am surely not ready for my baby to spend 35 hrs a week at school... I think it's way to long for a 5 yr old who has a SAHM. Logan is very excited about going. Last week he was a bit scared, after going for package pickup, meet the teacher and pictures the other day he can't wait. In fact, the count down is on :0) He found out his best buddy and his "girlfriend" from Preschool are in his class and he is beyond excited :0)

So we had a great summer and I cannot believe it's over. I guess the older ya get the faster the time goes, bummer because my baby is growing up way to fast :0( We had a great summer, waterparks, beaches, parks, pool parties and Cedar Point, Lots of fun!

This past Saturday my husband decided it would be fun to fall 20 feet. He fractured his back, herniated 2 disc, fractured a couple ribs and took a few staples to his melon. Poor guy I feel so bad for him, he's in terrible pain and is having a hard time getting comfortable. Thank God no head trauma or internal bleeding, he is VERY lucky. Not sure how long he is going to be off work AND he is a pretty difficult patient, LUCKY ME! I hope he makes a full recovery and his back is not messed up forever. I already have pretty bad neck problems, Logan doesn't need two parents with bad backs.

So I will leave with with a few pics of my handsome little man and I will post some more tomorrow of the first day of Kindergarten.

It's been a long time

Boy, what to even say??? Preschool came and went. It seemed like the year started and was over just as fast. Logan did great in school and learned so much. He did have some issues in the beginning, he was fine when I left him but when it came time to pick him up from school he melted down as soon as he seen me. It lasted only a few weeks and then he was fine. After Christmas break he started having issues with me leaving but that only lasted about 2 weeks and he was fine. His teachers loved him and he got a great review at parent teacher conferences. He is reading great and comes up with the funniest things. I have started making him do "homework" every other day so he doesn't forget what he learned in school. I am getting sad about sending him off to kindergarten but that is for a different post.

We have been so busy, we left for vacation the day after Logan got out of school. We have had party after party to go to and lots of other things going on. Logan took a "little Monkeys" class (intro to gymnastics) and now has started to take ice skating lessons. We have went to some community kids picnics in the park with clowns and magicians. Next week he has a week long cooking class to go to and then in 3 weeks he has a week long science class. Yesterday we had about 12 friends over for a pool party. Like I said, on the go, go, go.

I have posted some pics of preschool graduation and the last day of school at the park. There is one from a field trip to the nature center also.

Life is good and Logan is such a blessing. I CANNOT imagine life without him, he is the BEST thing EVER :0) Any ways here are the pics, next I will upload some from our vaca, it was great! If anyone is still reading my blog I hope your summer is as great as ours.
